    Question Making cards

I recently finished the Qi Vesta course and am so excited to start doing the protocols and the 60 days of Qi vesta. Firstly however, I need to make the cards. Please can anybody give some tips as to how to do that? F.ex. did you just print out the A4 pdf, laminated it and cut it in 4? Or did you resize them first? If not, are they not too big to layout and fit on a table? Maybe I am seeing a "problem" that is not there :-) I'll just really like to create special, personal and beautiful cards in a handy size. I'd be most thankful for any creative advice you might have.

Thanks and blessings to you all,
    Malue

    Hi Malue!
Here's what I did...I resized them to fit 8 on one page, my computer has that option to choose if you want to print two pages on one sheet, and that's what I did. They are perfect for my hands and they don't take up as much surface space when I do the Qi Vesta ceremony. Just be aware that the print is small and that may or may not be an issue for you. I then personalized them to be in the colors I wanted. I did not want to laminate them and so I simply cut them out with my xacto knife. I love them and agree with you that to create something special and beautiful only adds to the wonderous magic of the ceremony.

    Hi Malue
I printed 8 cards to 1 A4 sheet as Anna did. Size is perfect for shuffling. I cut out each card and laminated them. Took a bit of time but they are perfectly sealed around each card. When I printed I used paper that was white on one side and fluorescent on the other. I keep them in a business card box when not in use. The concept sheets (4) are printed on matching coloured paper as the cards. Just finished 58th day ... yippee.

    Hi Malue,
I don't know what resources you have available in Denmark, but here in the US you can buy a 3M Scotch brand laminating machine for about $27 - it's cheap but works really well. To use this type of machine you need laminating pouches which are available very cheaply at mybinding.com. I can't believe how cheaply you can get them from this site. Again, I don't know if a company like this is available in Denmark, or whether mybinding.com ships to Denmark. I printed the Qi Vesta cards in 2 sizes, one full-size, the other 8 to a page. I used a very inexpensive paper cutter to cut out the cards and centered each card in a laminating pouch and ran it through the laminating machine. It is time consuming but easy. If you print the cards full size, you can use different colors of paper for each of the four sets of cards. If you print them smaller and use colored paper, it might be harder to read the messages and discern the designs. Good luck!

    Dear Anna, Jen and Robin

Thank you so much for your very helpful replies! Wow, I can't wait to get started :-) I'll check out mybinding.com and then start working with my computer to see if I can resize them. By the way - did you get a pdf with all the 144 concepts? I only have an unnumbered list with 131 concepts and I did write to team Almine, but haven't heard anything yet. Jen - I'd love to see your setup so I'll email you.

    Thanks and blessings to you,
    Malue

My pleasure, Malue. However, Nancy (I am your muse) has a pdf of the numbered concepts she can email you so you don't have to go to all the trouble. She's sending you her email address I think. xo, Robin
