I hope this time it's going to work! Wow, Niels, after listening to the last Blogtalkradio show I feel the need to go into silence. So much to perceive. Thank you for all of your precious contributions. Love from Pig-in-the-mud Devapriya
Dear Niels, my technical mind has gone blank; I have written two messages in response to yours and they are now lost in cyberspace. I will try to recover and will get back to you.
Devapriya, I know you know what I'm saying. This was just meant as a little encouragement to tell you that you have already arived and see you have never been away to begin with. You are "Him who sent you". Sure, some practices make this easier or more clear to see than others, but still, that does not change the fact of what and whom you are. I just got a craving for cookies... or did the Infinite have it? And if so and the Infinite is both me and the cookies, isn't that cannabalism? Aaaargh... all these questions... Niels PS: Have given your love to Almine, she was delighted!
Hey there Devapriya, Well, I know the feeling and for me the trust in divine timing also really helped to surrender and not force my own will upon the future. However, may I tickle you with a question? Not as critique but as a playful nudge? "I still have not become a completely clear vessel for the Infinite"... OK, I know I'm not the one to talk about this, however my question is... How do you imagine you cannot be the most clear vessel for the Infinite. Is it not in you at this moment? Has it gone out for tea and cookies at your neighbour's? Where is the Infinite and when will you be clear enough a vessel? Ticklingtickling away... "where my mind stops and the Infinite kicks in..."... so, you think you have a mind... hmmm... interesting
Hi Niels, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I understand what you say and I am "working" on it, but still I have not become - as you say - a completely clear vessel for the Infinite. Which leaves me with some confusion about where my mind (or subconscious, or whatever..) ends and the Infinite's will kicks in. I am not discouraged though; I know that if I continue to surrender and to purify myself I will reach the promised land of no desires! I feel that the Poetry of dreaming is already helping a lot, and soon I will start again with the QiVesta that I have put aside for some time. I trust that everything has a divine timing. Thanks again, and since you are there give my love to the beautiful supergirl you are working with. Devapriya
You have become such a clear vessel for the Infinite to express itself through that you totally align with the desire to express of the Infinite. Whatever the outcome is, you are content in being that vessel. A true desireless life. That may sound boring from our earthly perspective, but from the glimpses I've got from it, it is anything but! Rather it is the most rewarding and deeply satisfying thing I have encountered... And now I desire to go shopping (or does the Infinite? Would those shoes look good on him/her?)... Cheerio, Niels
If, for some reason, you are physically unable to be there, then yes, the way of going into all perspectives and all experiences is a very good way to go. One can actually become quite skilled in that, thus desire becoming less and less because you truly can see it becoming fulfilled. But, once again, this does not mean that you don't have to be there in the physical. You can do both if you'd like. Kind of "you can walk on water but still find reasons to swim inside"... Now taking this discussion to a whole new level (and if you've done the Art of Dreaming course this will sound familiar). There is a state beyond this where personal desire is totally eradicated because you have so totally blended with the Infinite that a personal desire doesn't occur any longer for the person that would have that desire doesn't "occur" any longer.
Dear Devapriya, Great to see you here and thanks for the positive feedback on the radioshow. Desire... it's a pickle isn't it just? I'll give a little perspective, maybe it should be brought up in one of our upcoming radioshows, though... The perspective on the radioshow in which you acknowledge your Oneness with all and thus can go into any experience and desire becomes "quenched" is a very valid way of dealing with it. However, this does not mean that if you have the chance to go and see Almine (or do anything else you'd desire to do) you shouldn't because "you can already experience her through others". By all means, go and indulge yourself ... to be continued...
Dear Niels, thank you for contributing to this forum with your humour and lightness. KEEP POSTING!! Could you expand more on the subject that you brought up during the radio show, namely DESIRES?! I vicariously am enjoying your experience with Almine, but.....wouldn't I enjoy to be there too...... HHH (Hope, Heart, Humour) Devapriya
