The tubes are scientific borosilicate glass and are fused together by a professional manufacturer. I had it custom made. If you are interested, I will be ordering some of the top and bottom tubes, the glass plates and gusset. They are scientific glass and the cost is $300+Tax and shippng. I am waiting
